These seals can be reliably used in extremely corrosive chemicals,ranging from aqua regia to hydrofluoric acid, through phosphoric oxychloride and plating solution, to vitriol.
Corrosive – resistant glass- filled Teflon Bellow.
Hastelloy- C Spring, clamp ring and Allen Screw are Hastelloy C for protection against corrosive atmospheres. These Components do not come in contact with the media.
Clamp Type Ceramic Seat, guards against corrosive action.
Gland is not directly exposed to media.
Design Permits use of Flat Teflon Gaskets.
6242 seal is designed with replaceable sealing faces and is positively driven by bellows to seal faces in done through drive lugs.
